This week is a hubbub of creativity in my little apartment. We're getting ready for Christmas--though, as my boss has told us, 'they don't really celebrate Christmas in China'--by making gifts, drawing greeting cards and planning up holiday-themed lessons for our ESL students.
And, of course, I'm creating this new website. Www.bethgreenwrites.com is my new medium for blogging about my life as a writer, a reader and a woman abroad. Look also for links to updates on my other blog, about my travels with Dan, at www.alaskankangaroo.com. But, more exciting even than Christmas and a new blog (which makes me delirious in the same way that opening to the first, pristine page of a Moleskine does-- it fills me with possibilities, ideas and a hint of stage fright) are the ongoing revisions on my work-in-progress, a murder mystery set in Thailand. I've just sent a few chapters out to some friends I trust to get their opinions and am looking forward to their comments. I hope all who read this are having as wonderful a week as I am. Happy Holidays everyone! -Beth
